Senior Support Engineer

Job Description

Senior Support Engineer will be required to thoroughly understand various web based applications developed and used including the business requirements of the applications, technical implementation and the data in SQL Server database. Support Engineer should also understand the concepts used in building financial software. Primary responsibilities of a Support Engineer will include troubleshooting the issues reported by the users in applications and also writing SQL queries to retrieve data from database as per user requests. In addition, other regular maintenance tasks can be assigned such as taking database backups, deploying websites and other similar tasks.

Skills Required

Successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, experience in building web based applications on Microsoft platform, extensive knowledge of databases, experience in writing SQL queries and performing regular database maintenance tasks.

Work Hours

Support engineer will be required to work remotely from 6:30am EST to 3:30pm EST
