It takes 24 trees to make 1 ton of uncoated virgin printing and office paper.

And it is estimated that one person uses about 221.7 pounds/ 100.56 kilogram of printing and writing paper per year.

This means there are 24 trees cut down so that only 10 people can have papers to go about their daily work in the office.

These are the ratio of trees cut down just for paper. Now imagine the number of trees that are being cut down by human for all other uses. And this is increasing day by day. It is the high time when we, as an individual, as an organization take steps towards saving trees, towards greener tomorrow, towards healthy tomorrow.
